Donate Your Used Sports Equipment

Helping Kids Get in the Game

In 2013, teammates and friends, Will, Cade & Coker, decided that their sports equipment from last season should be put to better use. They had outgrown their bats, gloves and helmets but they still had plenty of use left. After they collected, cleaned-up and donated their gear, they realized that there were so many other kids who could do the same.

This is how BatKings was born.

In 2020, the reins of BatKings were handed over to Clark and Brooks. Like many athletes, they had typically started off each season with the new equipment. Throughout the years, the boys and their parents began to notice an accumulating pile of outgrown sports gear and decided that they would refurbish and donate their equipment. After talking with friends and teammates, they decided that there was a potential to gather more gently used sports equipment, clean-it all up and donate it back to non-profits. These organizations could get it in the hands of kids who also love sports and may not have access to the equipment that they need.

This is how BatKings continues.

BatKings has donated over 1,000 pieces of sports equipment throughout the United States, Cuba and the Dominican Republic. Locally, BatKings has been a proud donor to Alamo Heights Little League, the San Antonio YMCA and Boysville.
